Think green! Recycling the Past built this incredible greenhouse purely from salvage materials. Take a look at the knock-list of salvage materials RTP used to create this building that is not only “green” – but also a functional work of art with a sprinkle of history: · The granite steps leading to the porch are from a brownstone in Philadelphia, PA. · The cedar shingle siding is from a beach house in Seaside, NJ. · The metal roof came from a stable at Garden State Race Track in Cherry Hill, NJ. · The windows are from a retro-fit project at Holder Hall, located at Princeton University. · The oak trim around the windows and door is old paddocks fencing from a horse farm in Hamilton, NJ. · The copper skylight is from The Kubert School. (Joe Kubert is the one who invented Mighty Mouse!) · The interior beadboard is from a home in Seaside, NJ. · The interior window trim and baseboards are from a mansion in New York City. · The flooring is mahogany bleacher boards from Kobe Bryant’s high school, Lower Merion, in Pennsylvania. Like what you see? You can buy this greenhouse (yes, we’ll even move it for you!). Or RTP can custom-build a greenhouse for you on-site. Or perhaps this greenhouse provided just the inspiration you needed for your next project. Not a do-it-yourselfer? No worries, this is just one example of the masterpieces RTP can build for you.
